Zita was passionate about her faith, a loyal member of Glad Tidings Tabernacle. Her unwavering belief in the power of prayer inspired many and brought comfort to those in need. Zita’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was actively involved in her church community, where she shared her gifts of humility and compassion.
Zita was a joyful presence with her colourful clothes, beautiful hair, creative fashion choices and a bubbly personality. She loved her family and friends and filled her home with warmth and kindness.
She was a life long advocate for the unborn, and worked for Sudbury Right to Life for 25 years, counselling unwed mothers, offering helpful advice and organizing countless Right to Life Bazaars to raise funds to carry on this important work. All the while she also worked at Christ the King Centre.
A memorial service will held on Sunday, 8th December 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Cooperative Funeral Home on LaSalle Blvd in Sudbury where family and friends are invited to celebrate her remarkable life. A chapel service will follow on site at 4:00 p.m. A luncheon will be served in the reception room after the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made by cheque or online to Sudbury Right to Life (a cause near and dear to her heart) or to Maison McCulloch Hospice where she received outstanding care.
Maison McCulloch Hospice was the best place for all of us as it was a home away from home and made this, her final journey, a little easier. For this we will be forever grateful.
