In loving memory of Taina Beaudry (nee Villgren), 79 years, who passed away on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024, at Finlandia Village.
Daughter of Valio and Elmi Villgren (both predeceased), sister to Paul (Linda) and Kari (predeceased) (Laura). Loving wife to Fred Beaudry and mother to Stephen. Taina will be missed by many nieces and nephews and especially her large family of friends.
Taina emigrated to Canada in 1952 with her mother Elmi and brothers Paul and Kari and joined her father Valio who already had settled in Sudbury. After completing high school, Taina worked for 40 years in the medical field as a receptionist for several doctors in Sudbury
Taina enjoyed knitting afghans and giving them to family and friends and knitted dish clothes as a pastime and give them as gifts.
Taina was active in many sports. In the winter she enjoyed snowmobiling, cross country skiing, curling and the summer activity centered around golfing.

Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with a family gathering to be held at a later date. There will be a celebration of life for Taina at the Lively Golf and Country Club on Tuesday, September 24th, 2024, from 2-6pm. ln lieu of flowers, donations to Finlandia SISU foundation would be appreciated (cheques only).
