It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucille Thériault. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Health Sciences North at the age of 87 years. Cherished daughter of the late Yvonne Shelsted. Beloved wife of the late Paul Thériault. Loving mother of Claude Thériault (Jocelyne), Carole Pomerleau (Marc), Gilles Thériault (Sue), Norm Thériault (Sue), Alain Thériault (Jessica) and late Roger Thériault. Cherished mémère/mémé of Dan (Samantha), Michel (Sarah), Eric (Chrissie), Sherry (Nihad), Shawn (Tanya), Wayne (Jen), Reg (Gina), Marc (Stephanie), Ryan (Meaghan), Poppy Lynn and Zxander. Step-grandmother to Noella (CJ) and Paul (Kaarina). Lucille was also blessed to have many great-grandchildren to spoil. She is survived by her brother Ray Shelsted (Lillian) and sisters Shirley Brinkmeier and Thérèse Nadeau (Maurice). Lucille, mom, mémère will be sadly missed by her friends and family. She loved watching hockey, playing cards and Texas horseshoes. We will miss her smile dearly. A special thank you to the staff at Health Sciences North for their care and support over the last few months. We will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. A funeral service in the Chapel will start at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her memory to the Lung Health Foundation by cheque or online. lunghealth.ca/
