It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing in Sudbury, on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at the age of 92 years. Dear daughter to the late Telesphore Cayen and late Bibianne Cayen (née Gauthier). Loving wife to Ronald ‘‘Ron’’ Whalen. Loving mother to Ann Violette (late Gaëtan) and Paul Whalen. Cherished grandmother to late Luc, Brigitte (Dallas) and Natalie (Pierre-Paul). Great-grandmother to Alecia, Bailey and Keagan. Sister to Bernard (late Marielle). Predeceased by all other siblings: Roger (late Ellen), Jeanne d’Arc (late Gérard), Richard (late Evelyn), Raymond (Patricia) and Madeleine (late Gordon). She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a gracious thank you to the Lasalle Residence staff for their wonderful care the last couple years. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury, on Friday, December 6 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 7 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 7, at 11:00 a.m. at St-Dominique Church, 1241 Diane St., Sudbury.
