La famille a le regret de vous annoncer son décès survenu à Sturgeon Falls, le mercredi 15 novembre 2023 à l’âge de 77 ans. Fils de feu Marcel et de feu Germaine (née Aubin). Époux de Angèle (née Lafreniere). Père bien aimé de François (Gisèle) et Ginette Rivest-Thibault (Sylvain). Prédécédée par son fils Eric. Son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de ses petits-enfants Zacharie, Isabelle et Erica. Frère de Ghislaine Lafrenier (feu Normand), Germain (feu Pauline), Normand (Anna), Huguette Fifield (Bob), Suzanne Fifield, Pauline Racine (feu Jack), Claire Detwiler (John), Gilles, Bernard (Lucie), Yvon (Ghislaine), Paul (Chantal), Monique Mailloux (Jacques) et Francine Rivest (John). Prédécédée par son frère Denis. Luc était un homme qui aimait passer des heures dans la peine air. Sois la pêche, son beau jardin, le camping et même des heures à bretter sans garage. Il était un homme de famille. Le meilleur époux, père, grand-père, frère, beau-frère et ami. Luc était toujours prêt à rendre services avec ses nombreux talents a ceux qui avait besoins. Il enluminait la pièce lors de sa présence avec son humeur, sa personnalité incroyables et ses jokes. Il va nous manquer. La famille recevra famille et amis au Salon Funéraire Théorêt-Bourgeois, Sturgeon Falls pour des visites le jeudi 23 novembre de 19h00 à 21h00 et le vendredi 24 novembre de 09h00 à 11h00. Une célébration de vie sera célébrée le vendredi 24 novembre à 11h00 dans la chapelle du salon funéraire. Les arrangements funéraires sont confies au Salon Funéraires Théorêt-Bourgeois, Sturgeon Falls. The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday November 15, 2023 at the age of 77 years. Son of the late Marcel and of the late Germaine (née Aubin). Beloved husband of Angèle (née Lafreniere). Loving father of François (Gisèle) and Ginette Rivest-Thibault (Sylvain). Predeceased by his son Eric. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Zacharie, Isabelle, and Erica. Dear brother of Ghislain Lafrenier (late Normand), Germain (late Pauline), Normand (Anna), Huguette Fifield (Bob), Suzanne Fifield, Pauline Racine (late Jack), Claire Detwiler (John), Gilles, Bernard (Lucie), Yvon (Ghislaine), Paul (Chantal), Monique Mailloux (Jacques), and Francine Rivest (John). Luc was a man who enjoyed spending his time outdoors. Whether it was fishing, in his wonderful garden, camping or many hours in his garage, Luc enjoyed all of it. Luc was always ready to help those in need with his numerous talents. Though his humor, jokes, and incredible personality, he was always able to light up a room. Luc will be sadly missed. The family will receive friends for visitation at the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls for visitation on Thursday, November 23 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, November 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A celebration of life will be held in the funeral home chapel Friday, November 24 at 11:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society (Sudbury-Manitoulin North Bay & Districts) or to the Au Château (palliative care) would be greatly appreciated.
