The family announces with sorrow his death in River Valley, Wednesday March 13, 2024 at the age of 53 years. Son of Herman (Louise) and Noreen (née Paulin). Predeceased by his stepparents Norman Dessureault and Murielle Comeau. Beloved husband of Nathalie Roy. Father of Ryan Scaiff (Mary), Austin Léger, Patrick O’Shaughnessy, Tabitha Lafleur, Vanessa O’Shaughnessy (Alex), and Chanelle Venema (Eddie). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Kallie, Eliza, Esmé, Aurora, his nieces Katelyn, Emma, his many aunts, uncles, cousins, his hunting and fishing partner uncle Bob, and his fur babies Tucker, Ozzy, and Rocky. Dear brother of Dana Trudeau (Richard), stepbrother Mario Dessureault and brother-in-law of Ghislain Roy (Rita) and Yvan Roy. The family will receive friends at the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls for visitation on Thursday, March 21 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday March 22, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 22 in the funeral home chapel at 4:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association North Bay would be greatly appreciated.
