Obituary of Viola May Cole
It is with great sadness the family of Viola May Cole announces her passing on February 4, 2024 at Strathmere Lodge at the age of 77. Loving sister to Georgena (Jim) Bourgeault. Cherished aunt of Liona Bourgeault and Vincent Bourgeault. Great aunt to Tyler Johnson and Jacob Johnson. Viola will be dearly missed by her community of close friends.
Viola will be fondly remembered for her love of cats, being known as the “Cat Lady”. She was an avid reader. Viola enjoyed spending time gardening and loved peach roses and lavender.
As per Viola’s wishes cremation has take place. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 11:00am until 2:00pm at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Children’s Hospital, Toronto. Online condolences and donations may be made at www.strathroyfuneralhome.com.
