Obituary of Ruth Marion Viola Jackson
Ruth Jackson (Reid) passed away peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, February 9th, 2024 in her 87th year. Ruth was born in Clinton, Ontario to parents Stanley and Marion Jackson. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 10 years, Irving Reid (2020). Survived by her sister Edna Newcombe and sister in law Joyce Jackson. Aunt Ruth was loved by many nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews, and great great nieces/nephews. Caring Step Mom to Terry & Marlene Reid, and Kevin & Sandra Reid and their families. Predeceased by brothers Keith, James, and George Jackson.
Visitation will take place at DENNINGS OF STRATHROY, 32 Metcalfe St. W., on Friday, February 16th, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to Funeral Service on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Internment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations may be made to Parkwood Hospital – Palliative Care. Online condolences can be expressed at www.strathroyfuneralhome.com.
