It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lisa Sophie Waack announces her peaceful passing at Strathroy Middle General Hospital on November 17, 2023, in her 90th year. Lisa was the Loving wife of Karl Waack for 67 wonderful years. She was the cherished mother of Angela (Ron) Toth and Andre (Janet) Waack. Lisa was the very proud grandma (Omi) of Mattew Toth (Candice), Christopher Waack (Yvonne), and Curtis Waack, and great grandma of Emma Toth, Jackson Toth, and Lylah Toth. She will be dearly missed by her extended family and friends.
Lisa was loved by everyone that knew her. She enjoyed watching Hockey Night in Canada and was a huge Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Lisa loved travelling up north to Parry Sound and spending time with her family and loved ones. Lisa was born in Germany and lived through the Great Depression and the Second World War. She learned many incredible life lessons through these difficult experiences. Lisa’s compassion and empathy for those she loved is something that will always be remembered.
As per Lisa’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family Celebration of Life will take place at a later date,
