Fischtner, Josephine
Josephine Fischtner in her 93rd year, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 3rd, 2024. She is now reunited with her husband George Sr. and her youngest daughter Carol. She is survived by her children Jean (Hugh) Kellestine, George (late Donna) Fischtner, Vivian Bowman and Ronnie (Teresa) Fischtner. Also survived by her grandchildren Jacqui, Amanda, Candy, Victor, Ronnie Jr., and Malyn, and her 5 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A heartfelt and special thanks to all her caretakers; Debbie Heffler, who went above and beyond, Diane Thrower, her long-time friend and all the dedicated and caring VON staff. Many thanks to the Strathroy Middle General Hospital ER staff and One South staff who aided in her transition, and Marie from Right at Home. Greatly missed by Dolly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at All Saints Catholic Church, 124 Front St. E., on Monday, April 8th, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at the church one prior to Mass beginning at 9:00 a.m.
