Obituary of Jose de Sousa Neto
Peacefully, at Strathmere Lodge on February 17th, 2024, with his wife by his side, Jose Neto, 96 years old. Beloved and loving husband of Maria Neto, of 56 years. Loving father of the late Edalberto (1974). Survived by many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Predeceased by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Jose will be missed by many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Jose was an avid gardener who loved all things to do with gardens. You could always find him outside attending to his flowers and plants or vegetable gardens. Jose also had a love for music and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar which put a smile on many faces listening.
Friends will be received at DENNINGS of STRATHROY on Wednesday, February 21st, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saint’s Roman Catholic Church, 124 Front St. E., on Thursday, February 22nd, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in All Saint’s Cemetery.
