Jack Erskine
Peacefully on February 23, 2024, Jack Erskine passed away at Strathroy Middle General Hospital in his 72nd year. Jack was the devoted husband of Judy Erskine for 51 cherished years. He was the extremely proud father of Sara (Colin) and Kari (Jason). He was the loving “Grandpa Jack” of Sydney and Jessica. Jack is survived by his siblings Ruthanne (Doug), Bonne (the late Jerry), Tom (Karen), Doug (Denise), Barb (Dave), Wendy (Rob). Jack was predeceased by his parents William (1991) and Aletha (2019) Erskine and his sister Diane (1953). Jack will be missed dearly by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Jack was an avid and talented golfer. He loved spending his time on the course with his golf family. Jack leaves behind a large sporting community. Whether it be watching or playing sports, Jack was always involved in the game. He was a true athlete. Jack was a family-oriented man. Spending time with his loved ones was very important to him. Family gatherings, especially the holidays, were some of Jack’s most favourite memories. Jack was a food and wine connoisseur. He loved good food and wine, particularly the wine. Jack was loved my many and will be missed greatly.
A private family memorial service will take place. A Celebration of Life for friends and family will take place at a later date.
In memory of Jack, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Diabetes Association.
