Surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, February 9th, 2024, at Strathroy Middle General Hospital, Jacinta Monteiro, passed away, just shy of her 94th birthday. Loving wife of the late Manuel Monteiro (2002). Devoted mom of Manuel (the late Dianne), Maria (Joe) Couto, John (Lynn) and Liz (Mark). Cherished Vavo of Aletha, Mark (Morgan), Adam (Ashley), David (Lisa), Joey (Michelle), Anthony (Amanda), Nathan (Kristine), Cristina (Andreas), and Michael and Mindy Muylaert. Great-Vavo of Vanessa, Keeley, Sloane, Jaxon, Xavier, Easton, Linkon, Frankie, Nolan, Nichole, Neveah, Stella, and Cheslea. Dear sister of Jose Brum. Predeceased by her siblings Francisco, Manuel and Maria. Jacinta will be missed by her family and friends and several nieces and nephews in Canada, USA and Azores.
Friends will be received at Denning’s of Strathroy, 32 Metcalfe St. W., on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024 at 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place following the visitation on Tuesday at All Saint’s Roman Catholic Church, 124 Front St., Strathroy, at 11:00 a.m. Interment in All Saint’s Roman Catholic Cemetery.
