Obituary of David Lionel Gowers
After a long battle with his health, with his family by his side, on February 3rd, 2024 at Middle Terrace Nursing Home, David Gowers in his 63rd year was united with his Lord and Saviour.
Beloved son of Muriel (nee Charlton) and the late Walt Huckle (August 2023). Loving father of Tara Gowers. Papa of Destiny, Kayah and Marley. Dear brother of Brenda (the late Raymond Ysebaert – August 1989), Rick (Bonnie Knowles), Michele (Andy Ysebaert). Dave will be missed by a niece and several nephews and family and friends. Predeceased by nephews Erick Gowers and Jason Ysebaert.
David touched a lot of people’s hearts through his love and passion for music. Dave played in many bands throughout the years and brought joy to all listening.
A private family service was held. Cremation has taken place. Interment in Nairn Cemetery. Donations to Strathroy Middle General Hospital or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly acknowledged by the family.
