It is with very broken hearts the family announces the sudden passing of Christopher Hill surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous journey due to complications related to acute myeloid leukemia, on December 30th, 2023 at the young age of 37. Chris was the beloved husband of Logan Hill of 8 special and cherished years. Chris was the devoted father to Lochland (6), Harbor (5), Anders (3), and Riggins (9months), who he loved with his entire heart. Chris was the proud son of Gerald and Nancy Hill. Chris was the dear brother of Kelly (Rob) Thuss, Cindy (Michael) Morrison, and Alicia (Dan) Oliver. Chris was the son-in-law of Joanne Moyer (Earl) and Wilfred Stacey.
Chris will be sadly missed and always remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends throughout the farming community.
Chris’ passion was in all aspects of the dairy and Holstein industry. He loved showing cattle and assisting at many shows throughout Ontario. Chris was known for mentoring many kids throughout his years in sharing his passion.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 7th, 2024, from 1:00p.m.-3:00p.m. and 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. A funeral will be held on Monday, January 8th, 2024, at the funeral home at 11a.m. Interment to follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to London Regional Cancer Clinic at LHSC or to the Hill children’s education fund, which can be completed at the funeral home.
