Obituary of Bev Elliott
Calvin Beverley (Bev) Elliott died peacefully on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024 in Strathroy, Ontario at the age of 91.
Devoted husband to Ann Elliott (Stanley) for 70 years. Father to Rick, Deb, the late Bruce (1981), Mark, and Mary-Lynne. Grandpa to Chiara, Rebekah, Joel, Bethany, Amanda, Brittany, Blair, Elysse and Austin and great-grandpa to Ethan, Arian, Kirsten, Clarissa, Eleanor, Liam, Philippa, Sophia, Benson and Hazen and their families. Predeceased by parents Ernie and Lucy and siblings Ella Faulds, Mary White and Frank Elliott. Bev will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Bev is widely known and respected. He farmed the land that had been in his family for generations. He grew up farming with horses and retired farming with Fords. He loved restoring antique tractors, socialising with neighbors, Sunday night phone calls and gathering family and friends on the farm for food and fun.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 3rd, 2024 at 1:00pm at Strathroy Cemetery, 585 Metcalfe St W. Please come and join the family for a time of support and join in on celebration of Bev’s life.
