It is with heavy hearts the family of Betty Matthews announces her passing on October 11th, 2023 at the Sudbury Hospital at the age of 91. Beloved wife of late George Matthews (2010). Loving mother of Brian Matthews, Wayne (Renee) Matthews and Larry (Sandra) Matthews. Proud grandma of Tyler, Jake, Ryan and Cameron. Betty was predeceased by her parents Elmer and Mae Morgan and her siblings Alfreda (John) Lambert and Ernest (Joyce) Morgan. Betty will be sadly missed and always remembered by her many extended family and her friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 16th, 2023 at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY from 11:30a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1:00p.m. Interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Online condolences and donations may be left at www.strathroyfuneralhome.com.
