It is with great sadness that the family of Alain Rudolph Depont announces his passing on November 3, 2023, at Chatham Kent Health Alliance, at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Barb Depont for 34 years. Loving Father to Vicki Depont-Fitchett (Ken Fitchett), Jason Depont (Kelly), and Krista (Clint) Maynard. Loving Stepfather to Robert (Monica) Van Oosterhout and Wendy (Jay) Detlor. Proud Papa of Connor, Abby, Dakota, Charlie, and Colton. Predeceased by his parents Georges and Godelieve Depont and his younger brother George Depont.
A Celebration of Life will be held at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY in the Caradoc Room on Saturday November 18, 2023, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences and donations may be left at www.strathroyfuneralhome.com.
