Vanessa Quinn Cowen
August 12, 1984 – November 6, 2024
It is with great sadness that the family of Vanessa Quinn Cowen announce her passing.
Vanessa will be forever remembered by her boys Colten and Brody Cowen, her brother Evan Cowen, his children Ellis, Zoey and Phoebe and by her mother Danette Miller and stepfather Morgan Miller.
Predeceased by her father Rod Cowen (2008)
Lovingly remembered by grandparents Melba and Dan Bingeman, Betty and Merv Cowen. Aunts and uncles Stephanie and Mark Roth, Deb and Perry Brydges, Suzanne and Grant Cameron, Jason and Terry Cowen, as well as many cousins.
Also mourning her loss is Jake Enns and his extended family, including bestie Kristie McCullough.
Our family would like to thank Phil Mongillo for being such a great friend to Vanessa. More than friend, chosen family.
Vanessa will always be remembered for her zest and energy. A real firecracker with a head on approach to everything. A talented pianist, her music will be cherished forever.
The family would like to thank the staff at Rotary Hospice for the care and support during Vanessa’s stay.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday November 30, 2024, 1-4pm at Shakespeare Optimist Hall. Memorial donations in Vanessa’s memory may be made to Trust Fund for Colten and Brody Cowen (Cheques made payable to Young Memorials) through W. G. Young Funeral Home or to Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth.
