Martin Klaus Hoffmann, age 83, of Waterloo passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on July 17, 2024. Born in Germany, June 12, 1941. Martin came to Canada in 1966 and settled in Kitchener/Waterloo where he worked as a stone mason for Georg and Asmussen Masonry until his retirement in 2012.
Martin is the beloved husband of Danielle (Garcon). Brother of Manfred, Dieter and Christel. Brother-in-law of Steve Garcon (Karen). Uncle to Thomas, Birgit, Nicole, Desire and Felicia.
Visitation for friends will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Monday, July 17, 2024 from 12:30 pm until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Andrews Cemetery, Perth East. Memorial donations in Martin’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
