Obituary
June Carter (Aleta June Myrtle Walz) passed away peacefully at Freeport Hospital in Kitchener, November 12,2023. She was born in Wiarton June 7,1927 and was raised in Stratford, where she met her beloved husband Robert Carter. She went on to raise her two children, John and Judy.
In her lifetime, She owned several businesses, a breeder of boxers, a dairy bar in Stratford and a maternity shop in Waterloo. She had many interests she enjoyed, such as travel, casinos, horse racing and dancing. She also spent 1 year in Egypt when her husband worked at the Embassy and spent many happy summers at her cottage in Grand Bend.
She is predeceased by her husband Robert Carter and her daughter Judy (Weicker), as well as 9 siblings. She has waited a long time to be rejoined with them! She leaves behind a wonderful legacy in her grandchildren Kelly, Robert, Jenna, Richard, Gina, Christine and John Paul. There are also 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
There will be no formal service, but she will be buried alongside her husband in Avondale Cemetery on Wednesday November 15th at 1:00 p.m.
