Gord Snarey Obituary
Gordon “Gord” Morris Snarey, age 51, of Stratford, passed away suddenly at Stratford General Hospital on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Born in Stratford son of Frieda (Gordon) Snarey and the late Robert Snarey. Gord is survived by his loving wife Cathi (Longhurst) Snarey of 22 years. Proud father of Marissa Longhurst (Kurtis Bailey), Grayson Snarey and Olivia Snarey. Loved grandfather to Haylynn. Gord will be remembered by his brother Dave Snarey (Tanya McGoey), his mother-in-law Sandra Longhurst, his sisters-in-law Michelle Longhurst (Marvin Meyer), Wendy Longhurst and very close and dear friends Annette and Donovan Uyl.
Cathi and her family would like to sincerely thank all the doctors and nurses of Stratford General Hospital Emergency Room, especially Nurse Kate Steel for all your care and compassion. Besides his father, Gord was predeceased by his brother Robert Jr, and his father-in-law Dave Longhurst.
A celebration of Gord’s life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Army Navy Air Force Hall, 151 Lorne Ave, East, Stratford. In keeping with Gord’s personality, the family requests that everyone wear something Coca Cola related in Gord’s memory.
