Vincent Gerard “Gerry” Traynor, age 77, of Stratford passed away suddenly at West Perth Village, Mitchell on December 18, 2024. Born in Lindsay, Ontario, September 13, 1947, son of the late Vincent and Elizabeth (McLean) Traynor.
Predeceased by his wife Bonnie Elizabeth (Hawkins) December 10, 2012. Survived by his children Michelle Traynor (Rob), Chris Traynor, Tanya Doell (Jeremy), Amanda Traynor-Propper (Jeffrey). Grandfather of Payton (Sam), Shaneika, Colton, Nolan (Emma), Alyssa, Haley, Cody (Julia), Darrien (Aliyah), Xavier, Logan, Evander, Amelia. Great grandfather of Haidleigh. Brother of Florence Daum (Bruce), Elizabeth Shea, Annette Nisbet, Yvonne Nickason. He will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by granddaughter Danielle Traynor, siblings Shirley Lee (Gord), Carol Walden (Claire), Bernard Traynor, Bev Casey (Bill) and brothers-in-law Bill Shea and Malcolm Nisbet.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Monday, January 6, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Avondale Cemetery.
