Easterbrook, Frank “Easter Bunny”
Frank Easterbrook, age 86, of Stratford, passed away at the Stratford General Hospital, on Thursday, November 23, 2023.
Born in Stratford, son of the late John and Lynn (nee Hoffman) Easterbrook. Beloved husband of the late Diane (nee Kelly) Easterbrook. Loved father of Kelley Goforth (Kevin), Brian Easterbrook (Loretta) and Shannon Johnson (Scott). Papa to Kelsey Goforth (Jeremy Swinarton), Jacob Easterbrook, Tyler Johnson (Jessica Jeffers), Tanner Johnson (Rylee Kaufman), Kyle Easterbrook (Randi Wilson) and Kennedy Easterbrook. Great grandpa to Harley and Rebel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Lois Bach and sister-in-law Daisy Hoskin (Ron).
Frank was a longtime iconic figure in and around Stratford, well-known at the local Tim Horton’s, the former Dominion House and Avon Hotel. He was a dedicated hockey and baseball grandpa at Tyler and Tanner’s games.
A celebration of Frank’s life will be held at the Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans Hall, 151 Lorne Avenue, Stratford on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 1 – 4 pm.
