Vanstone, Donald James
Don Vanstone, age 89, of St. Marys passed away at the St. Marys Memorial Hospital on Sunday, October 29, 2023.
Born in Stratford, son of the late James and Mary (nee Dunseith) Vanstone. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Mae Vanstone (nee Williams)(2022). Loving father of Debbie, Tom (Cindy), Ginny Frayne (John), Teresa Buck (Brad), and David (Linda), including Marc (Shelia) Cameron. Grandfather of Terry (deceased), Alicia (Colin), Melissa, Jessica (John), Stephanie (Ben), Kathleen (Jhonny), Nicholas (Skye), Angie (Jim), Ryan (Becky), Jamie (Tanya), Rebecca (Tony), Nicole, Justin (Alyssa) and Jacob. Also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Brother of Shirley O’Hara and brother-in-law of Betty Bendall and Vivian Williams. Remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Predeceased by his brother Ken and parents-in-law Reginald and Kathleen Williams.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be at the St. Marys Presbyterian Church, 147 Widder Street East, St. Marys, on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A private family interment service will take place in St. Marys Cemetery.
