Dawn Crabe Obituary
Cherylin Dawn Crabe, age 75, of Brussels and formerly of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2024 with loved ones by her side. Dawn was a loving and grateful person who enjoyed all of the beauty in life. Her loved ones will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Born in St. Thomas, daughter of the late Albert and Carolyn (nee Larson) Wilson. Beloved wife of the late Terry Crabe (2023). Proud and loving mother of Chantelle and Michael Graham. Loving grandma of Madelynne and Erika Graham. Big sister to Darryl, Deborah and Rebecca Wilson. She will be missed by her cherished sister-in-law Heather and husband Dennis Feick along with Colleen and Edward.
Dawn worked as a Librarian for Lambton County Library, specializing in Children’s Programming, and later a role as Executive Director for The Friends of The Pinery Park. She graduated from UWO with a Bachelor in Fine Art and Music. She enjoyed many hobbies including birding, dancing, traveling, and playing the harp and flute. Dawn retired early with her husband Terry and spent 12 enjoyable years RVing across North America.
In keeping with Dawn’s wishes, cremation will take place and her ashes to be scattered in a meaningful location. A memorial event will be planned for both Terry and Dawn, to be shared at a future date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to “The Friends of Pinery Park” through the W. G.
