Darlene Lewis-Mabey Obituary
Darlene Jo-Anne Lynn Lewis-Mabey, age 58, of London and formerly of Stratford passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Victoria Hospital on January 17, 2024.
Darlene is survived by her daughters Melissa Gebhardt (Robert), Jessica Mason (Chris), and Hailie Mabey; her grandchildren Robert, Rebecca, and Grace Gebhardt; her God Son Alfred Deadman (Michelle); her sisters Christine Pfaff, Katherine Hoffman (James), Corrinne Mabey, Deb Clark, and Angie Miller; her brothers Ernie Mabey, Wesley Mabey, and Todd Mabey; and her Aunt Margaret Edwards and Uncle Bob Deadman. Also survived by her former husband and beloved friend Dean Mason, many nieces, nephews and cousins, and her precious four-legged friends Bandit, Lucy, and Sunshine.
Darlene is predeceased by her mother Barbara Mabey; fathers James Lewis and Aubrey Mabey; siblings Phyllis Humphrey and David Mabey; nephews Owen Humphrey and Mark Mabey; niece Julie Humphrey; Uncle John Dinich; and dear friend Tony Bondy.
Visitation for friends and family will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home located at 430 Huron Street in Stratford on Wednesday, January 24, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, where a celebration of life will take place on Thursday, January 25, at 11am.
