Betty Ryan Obituary
Betty Jean Ryan, age 94, of St. Marys, formerly of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Kingsway Lodge. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late George and Mable (Malcho) Ford.
Predeceased by her loving husband Timothy “Ted” Patrick Ryan on January 29, 1997. Proud mother of Judy Ryan, Gerry (Kathy) Ryan and Cathy (Dennis) Cowell. Loving grandmother of Mark Ryan, Jeff Ryan, Luke Cowell (Kelly), Tannar Cowell and great grandmother of Braxton, Isabel, Aria and Clark. Betty will be remembered by her nieces and nephews.
The family would like to sincerely thank all the wonderful staff at Kingsway Lodge, especially the third-floor staff, your compassion and care will never be forgotten.
Besides her parents and her husband Ted, Betty was predeceased by her son-in-law Al Hornemann and her sister and her husband June (Albert) Fink. The family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Betty’s funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Interment to follow in Avondale Cemetery. A luncheon will take place following the interment in the funeral home reception center.
