Obituary of Thaddeus ‘Ted’ Joseph Golinski
Thaddeus “Ted” Joseph Golinski passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 24th, 2024, in his 58th year of life. Beloved best friend of Sandra of 39 years and husband for 31 years. He will be forever mourned by his children Juliana, Ethan, and Kristiana. Survived by his sisters Sandra (Stefan), Darlene (Gary), and Debbie (Terry). Predeceased by father Ted, mother Genevieve and brother-in-law Terry. Ted will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews here and in Poland, as well as many friends.
Ted worked as a dialysis technician at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 34 years. He was dedicated to the many dialysis patients that he cared for during his time at St. Joe’s, and always went above and beyond to ensure they had the best care. Ted channelled his artistic side as a wedding photographer for many years. Most recently he loved spending time with his family. He had a passion for sports. He loved coaching his children’s basketball and soccer teams and when not coaching, could always be heard on the sidelines, often being the loudest one. His favourite sport to play was volleyball, especially beach volleyball. His happy place and his home away from home was the Dominican Republic. He would spend as much time as he could covered in sand and playing volleyball. You could always hear him say, “Dos cervezas con hielo por favor!”.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, September 28th, 2024, from 1-6 p.m. at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, Ontario. Cremation to follow. A Celebration of his Life will take place at a later date. Notes of sympathy and condolence may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
