Obituary of Mary Isabelle Wilcox
On Tuesday June 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at St Peter’s Hospital, Mary Wilcox peacefully passed away in her 97th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Lynn (2009) daughter Linda (1957) son Dennis (1999) Grandson Brandon (2001) Son-in-law Gary (2009) and lifetime friend Tom Wallace (2017). Devoted mother to Barb Lickman, Sandy (Gene) Fama, Patricia (Bruce) Smith, Heather, Dan (Lynn) Gary (Shelley), Ron (Karen) and Sharon. Gramma will be missed by her grandchildren Rob (Brenda, Ashley, Amanda) Brad (Lisa, Emily, Kerri) Mike (Easton) Christopher, Sarah, (Sabastien, Owen) Katie, Tass, and Mark. Mary will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
You could always find Mom sitting in her favorite chair with a cup of tea watching the birds with a crochet hook in her hand.
Family would like to extend a special thanks to all the staff at St Peters Palliative Care Unit 3 E, also to Pharmacist Ash Zaki and Dr V.S. Rathod for all their help and care provided to Mom and the family over the years.
Resting at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive Stoney Creek, Ontario. Visitation Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford, Ontario.
