Barbara McIsaac (November 14, 1940 to December 8,2023)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom Barb McIsaac. She passed peacefully at home after a long battle with Dementia at the age of 83. She was born in Glacé Bay, Nova Scotia, the second youngest of ten children to Hughie and Cecelia Aucoin. Predeceased by sisters Iris, Muriel, Anna, and brothers Pat, Gerard, Hughie, Jim, and Mel. Survived by brother Dan Aucoin (Lynn) and sister-by-heart Gloria McNeil. Mom has been reunited with her son Allie in heaven. The most devoted and cherished mom to Trish (Greg), Bob (Roberta), Wendy (Bruce),” other daughter” Lori. Adored by grandchildren Amy, Shelby, Shaylin, Danny, Britney and great grandchildren Alex, Indy, Alice, and Felicity. Many family and friends in Cape Breton and Ontario who meant the world to her. She was full of life and had so much compassion for others, always the hostess. She loved walking the mall, trips to Vegas and live country music with friends. Mom always said she had the best family ever, but that’s because we had the best mom ever.
