Obituary of Edward David Gravis
Peacefully Friday May 24, 2024 at St. Peter’s Hospital Hamilton after a long illness surrendered to our Father in Heaven.
Eddie was in his 88th year, and beloved husband of Peggy Gravis for 5 years. Marie (RIP) mother of his children, and Doreen (RIP). Loving father of Mary-Ann, (Richard Barnes (RIP), David (Marni) and Anthony (Joanne). Grandfather of Hannah Lawless, Jarred (Lisa), Levi (Jen), Kirin, Lauren, Marie, Makaila and Step-grandchild Sarah Marie Achilles; Great-Grandfather to Letti Barnes.
Dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Everyone who knew Eddie was touched by him and have wonderful memories and will be sadly missed.
Special thank you to all the staff and medical people of St. Peter’s Hospital for their excellent careat his end of life.
Celebration of Life for Eddie will be held on June 1, 2024, Saturday at 1 p.m. condolences from 12 noon at the Church of Jesus Christ, of Latter-day-Saints. 701 Stone Church Road East at Upper Sherman Ave., Hamilton. Interment at Woodland Cemetery will be for family only, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers and if desired, memorial donations can be made to charity of your choice would be appreciated.
