Obituary of Debbie Mary Fougere
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved sister, Debbie. Her devoted husband of 48 years, Dave Gorchinsky, was by her side as she peacefully left this world too soon.
Debbie leaves behind a void in our lives that will never be filled, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her kindness to others, her love for her furry friends, and her warm, caring nature as a wife, daughter, sister, and friend will never be forgotten.
Her unwavering friendships with Gina Corso and Bill and Shelly Hill were a testament to the loving person she was. Debbie’s love for life, family, and friends will forever be cherished and the beautiful memories and the love she shared will continue to inspire and comfort us.
Debbie is predeceased by her parents Raymond and Evelyn Fougere and sister Alvina and is survived by her siblings:  Carol Ann (Charlie), Gary, Kevin, Duane (Tina), David, Mark (Sue), and Greg (Natalie) and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place, and she will be interred in Mountview Garden Cemetery in Stoney Creek.
Our family extends heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the Grimsby EMT staff and the ICU team at Hamilton General Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion shown toward our beloved Debbie on her final journey.
