Obituary of Clifford Carl Stickland
Passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, on Monday, June 17, 2024, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Faye (Slote). Loved father of Gloria Pare and Susan Kirchhoefel (Mike). Cherished grandfather of Jordan, Jennifer, Joseph, Jaylene and great-grandson Roman. Dear brother of the late Ron (Zeda), Doris (Jerry), Ruth (John), Roger (Joan) and Norma. Will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Clifford was a mechanic for the Region of Hamilton-Wentworth working at the airport and was a Volunteer Firefighter in Binbrook for 32 years. He was a member of the Binbrook Agricultural Society and served as Director of the Fair Board, and along with Faye a Foster Parent for 25 years. Clifford was also a United Empire Loyalist.
Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m. A private family service will be held on Friday, June 21st at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences and notes of sympathy may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca.
