Obituary of John David Lantz
John David Lantz, of St Marys, passed away peacefully at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth on March 12, 2024 at 10:50 pm at the age of 80.
Born in Stratford and raised on a farm north of Shakespeare. John enjoyed all outdoor activities throughout his life, such as camping, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, RV’n, dancing and playing cards.
John belonged to numerous clubs over the years, Shakespeare Optimist Club, Youth Athletics, North Easthope Tug o War, and the Shakespeare Volunteer Fire Dept.
John worked his whole life and never took a sick day. He worked with Hutton Transport, Gladhill Transport, as well as owning and operating a livestock hauling company.
John is survived by his loving partner Pat Willert, her two childen Leanne, and Jennifer and his 3 children David, Kelly (Kevin) and Chad (Leslie). John leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, 1 niece and 1 nephew.
