Obituary of Edith Fern (Mills/Youngson) Kestle
God sent out a message he needed a new PR Manager for his choir who could really sing with true gusto…and our Mother answered the call. In the early morning hours of May 2, 2024 our Mom headed off for her first heavenly choir practice.
The singers she left behind are her children; Beverley Haynes (Bill), Leslie (Bev), Marianne Kennedy (Marvin), Doris Youngson-Ross (Bruce), Jim (Tanja), and Sara Youngson-Wood.
She was a loving Grandmother to thirty grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sisters Mary Kittmer (Ken) and Linda Mott- Kronenberg ( Bernie); sisters-in-law Gwen Mills, Audrey Mills, Sheila Youngson and Mary Conley.
Edith was predeceased by her first (ex) husband Jack Youngson (2019), after they came back together in friendship later in life, and her second husband, Mel Kestle (1999).
Edith was predeceased by her parents Charles and Ethel (Chittick) Mills; family members Kenneth (Marion), Roy (Winnie), Eugene, Ross, Rosetta; Robert Mott, Gerald and Dorothy Youngson, Bill and Leone Holst, Bill Youngson, Robert Conley and Karmen Bedard.
Celebration of Life to be held June 3, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. at the St. Marys Royal Canadian Legion with Words of Remembrance at 3 pm.
