As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Diabetes Research Foundation, or the charity of your choice, would be greatly appreciated. A special thank you to the staff at the St. Catharines General for all their support, kindness and attentiveness they have shown.
Terry was retired from Hayes Dana where he worked for many years. He was a loving Father, Grandfather (Grampy), & Great Grandfather who always made his family feel loved. Terry was avid storyteller, as anyone who knew him would agree. And with his stories, he never ceased to make us laugh or raise an eyebrow to. “I’ll tell the world”, favourite saying. He boxed when he was young. Both Grampy & Grammy enjoyed travel to the Caribbean, many years flying to Florida, with family flying in to join them. Great memories. He enjoyed many years riding his motorcycle right up to the age of 80. For many years he turned out furniture for family in his beautiful wood workshop. Our family always went camping then cottaging every summer. Taking his kids out water skiing in their teens on his boat. He loved fishing up north. He’d paddle out to the middle of the lake and enjoy. There was the fishing competition for the family trophy for best fish caught. Many good memories. Looked forward to weekly lunches out with friends. Always gave friends, family and a few churches, help with his plumbing and other trade skills. He had a big heart. Terry was sharp as tack right up until the end. And would be a contender with anyone to match his amazing memory. He fiercely loved his family and will be sorely missed. In our hearts forever. “Love you a whole bunch!”
