Obituary of Norma Jean Etherington
Etherington, Norma Jean – Passed away with her loving family by her side on Sunday, April 7th 2024 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 85. Beloved wife of George. Cherished mother of Susan (Scott) Meuser and Heather Talbot; step mother of Doug (Gaby) Etherington and Sue (Steve) Dolynski. Loving Nana of Olivia, Alex, Ethan, Maddox, Makeda, Chris and Rob. She is predeceased by her parents Ross Billett and Elizabeth Martin as well as by her siblings David and George Billett and Bonnie Claringbold. Norma was a great athlete who loved playing sports throughout her life, from softball to bowling to golf; organizing many of those leagues within Niagara and Florida. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Norma’s Life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion – Port Dalhousie Branch 350 on Sunday, April 14th from 1-4p.m. Memorial donations to a Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
