It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother on Saturday, January 27 in her 80th year. Loving mother of David (Shannon) and Mary-Ellen McKenzie (Ron). Dear grandmother of Kyla, Brady and Braeden. Special great grandmother to Aydan. Lee will be remembered by her siblings, Bonnie, Delores and Rodger. Predeceased by her infant grandson Brennan, brothers Allan and Darrel. She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and extended family.
In her younger days, Lee was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing many sports. She always enjoyed fixing the bikes and toys for all the neighbourhood kids.
Family was most important to Lee and she enjoyed playing cards and board games and sharing Kraft dinner with the grandchildren.
We would like to thank the staff at Henley House for their care and compassion toward our mother during her stay there.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
