Black, Dr. John Bradley
December 7th, 1941 – October 27 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Brad on Sunday, October 27th, 2024 at the age of 82. Loving husband of 57 years to Susan (nee Herriott). Cherished father of Trisha Lesperance (Trevor) and Julie Birmingham (Brad). Beloved grandfather of Josh (Asia), Trystan, Abby (Damian) and Maisy. Dear brother of Gary (Barb). Predeceased by his parents John and Myrtle. Greatly missed and fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews,extended family and many good friends.
Brad was a dedicated and well respected dentist in St. Catharines for 53 years before retiring to his favorite place in Muskoka, Clear Lake. He has shared a lifelong love of figure Skating with Sue, first as skaters and later as fans.
The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton St. on Thursday, November 14th from 11am -1pm. A Final Tribute will follow in the Ceremony Room of the funeral home at 1pm.
If so desired, donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Brad’s memory would be appreciated by his family.
