Passed away peacefully at Upper Canada Lodge, Niagara-on-the-Lake on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband Ed Sheppard (2011). Loving mother to Debbie (Barry) Clark and Michele (Gord) Allen of St. Catharines and Kevin Sheppard and Lorie (Ken) Pidgen of Victoria, B.C. Predeceased by her daughter Tracey Lavoie (Jim) (2005). Cherished nana to Krista (Eric Arnold) Sheppard, Leah Sheppard, Amanda Houtby (Randy), Jordyn (Steve) Shephard, Kyle Lavoie, Brady Allen (Robyn) and Kurt Allen (Kaitlyne), Lovingly remembered by her sister Isobel (Val) Jesik and by her brothers-in-law Harry (Anne) Sheppard and George (Barb) Sheppard.
In keeping with Madelaine’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service. Arrangements entrusted to Passfield Mortuary Service. If desired, a donation to a charity of one’s choice in Madelaine’s name would be appreciated.
