Young, Francis “Frank” Henry 1955-2024
Frank passed away too soon on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at the age of 68 in St. Catharines, Ontario
Frank was a devoted son to the late Mary and Howard Young.
Beloved husband to Debbie (nee Horeczy) for 47 years. An amazing father to Jeremy and Jennifer (Tim). Proud Grandpa and Papa to Patton, Prestyn, Phoenix, Meghan, and Alex. Dear brother to Cathy (the late Doug), the late David, Shelia (Frank), Mary Margaret (Wayne). Brother-in-law to Sharon (Mike), Chris (Cathie), Larry and Rick (Shelley). Will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and a dear friend to many.
Frank retired after 47 years from Johnson Matthey Refinery in 2019. He was a 4th degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus and proud and active member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Parish.
He found his greatest joy and purpose helping others and sharing his love and humor with his family. He will be deeply missed.
Family will receive visitors at George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be celebrated in the funeral home at 3 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Parish on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 11 a.m. a reception following the Mass will be held in the church hall. A family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Parish or Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Parish.
