Obituary of Elizabeth Adams
We are saddened to announce that Elizabeth Adams (née Rennie) died Tuesday, August 13th, 2024 at Henley House, St. Catharines.
Elizabeth was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, on December 30th, 1938, to Robert and Elizabeth Rennie, one of four daughters, Catherine (predeceased), Ann and Christine. She immigrated to Canada in 1980 with her husband and daughters. She was many things, a traveller, a clothes model, a mother, a wonderful dancer, a telephonist, a voracious reader, a nurse, a gardener, and an avid volunteer. Elizabeth was a vivacious person with a great sense of humour. She was strong and never afraid to speak up when it mattered.
She will be missed and remembered by her husband Ian, they were married for 64 years, and she remains the love of his life. As well as her daughters Elizabeth Ann (Mark) and Susan Jane, and her beloved grandchildren Emmanuel, Ainslie and Charlotte.
Her family would like to thank the staff of Henley House for their loving care of Elizabeth. If so desired, donations made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by her family.
