PASSFIELD: Verna Elaine (nee Dobrindt)
April 26, 1934- April 27, 2024
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Elaine on April 27, 2024 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 90. Loving wife of 71 years to Alan. Cherished mother to Bob (Shelley) Passfield, Linda Passfield – Thomas, and the late Ron Passfield (2021). Grandmother to 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Elaine is predeceased by her parents Verna & Murray Dobrindt and her brother Keith (Marjorie) Dobrindt and she will be missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Elaine was a longtime member of the downtown Seniors Club where she enjoyed carpet bowling and darts a couple of hours each week. A special thank you to the staff of the 3rd floor at the St. Catharine’s General Hospital, specifically Ellie-Mae, Amy and Autumn. Arrangements entrusted to PASSFIELD MORTUARY SERVICES INC. 905 682 0474. As per Elaine’s wishes, cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to NHS: St. Catharine’s Site in Elaine’s honour would be appreciated by her family.
