It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brenda Joan Lindsay, in her 80th year. Brenda passed peacefully Wednesday January 24th, with her daughters, Judy and Kelly, and sister Leone by her side. Brenda was born May 22, 1943, and lived an extremely fulfilling life. She was the kindest, sweetest soul, and she always put others’ needs before her own. Her generosity extended to all those who knew her and she will be remembered for her friendly smile and sassy remarks. Some of Brenda’s favourite things include her cat Mollie Girl, her weekly Walmart trips to shop for her great grand-daughter Ava, her daily soap operas, a juicy burger, and a trip to Swiss Chalet. Brenda is predeceased by her husband Tommy Lindsay. She is survived by her children John (Nancy), Judy (Gary), Jeff (Chantal) and Kelly (Kelly). Her memory will live on through her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by her brothers and sister, and her beloved friends Pat and Elwood. The family would like to thank the March of Dimes for all the care and comfort they provided Brenda. Arrangements have been entrusted to Passfield Mortuary Services Inc. Family and friends will celebrate Brenda’s life on Sunday, February 4th from 2-5pm at Best Western St Catharines Hotel & Conference Centre. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Humane Society of Greater Niagara Animal Clinic.”
