Obituary of Alena Sophie Szpilewski
Alena left us in the early hours of September 26th at the GNGH after a recent diagnosis of cancer at the age of 70. Mother to Tara (Jeff) & Tiffany (Adam). Babcia to Kayla, Jayden, Callum, Liam, Gavin and Caide. Pra Babcia to Lylah. Sister to Ann, Bruno, Gene, Valerie and Walter. Daughter to Boleslaw and Albina.
Alena worked as a dispatcher for the city of St.Catharines, enjoyed her gardens, dogs and being in the sun. She was a resident at Linhaven Home in St.Catharines for whom we would like to thank for their very patient, and kind care of our Mother.
There will be no service or visitation. Cremation has taken place.
Donations would be appreciated for Friends of Linhaven via George Darte Funeral Home.
