Obituary
Gerber, Tim, passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Southampton Hospital on Monday November 20, 2023 at the age of 58. Beloved son of Joan and Frank Gerber. Loving brother to Debbie Gerber and Wendy (Brent) Williams. Extremely proud uncle to Nathan and Lauren. Also, remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Tim was a lover of tools, fast and loud cars, and flying his RC planes and driving his RC cars. He called himself “Tim the Toolman”. Those who knew him well would say he was a real-life “MacGyver”.
Visitation will be held at the Eagleson Funeral Home in Southampton on Friday, November 24 from 4 to 7 PM. A funeral service for Tim will be held at the Port Elgin Missionary Church in Port Elgin on Saturday at 11 AM. Interment to follow at the Southampton Cemetery. A time of fellowship and refreshment will follow at the church.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital foundation, or to the Owen Sound Hospital Foundation.
