Obituary of Mary Theresa Bertha Allen
Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at Rosebridge Manor on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the age of 94. Loving wife and best friend of the late Ernest Allen, who predeceased Mary in 2002. Devoted mother of Lawrence (Lorraine), Brian (Lindy), Terry (Arlene), Doug (Debbie) Allen, Cheryl (Len) Bryan and the late Robert Allen and infant daughter Dawn. Mary was a cherished grandmother to her 16 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grand daughter. She will be sadly missed by Rita Purcell, Dan (Myra) Murphy, Charlie (Colleen) Murphy, Kathy Hamilton, Pat (Gary) Whitmore. Mary was also predeceased by her siblings Jerry, Donald, Frank, Jack, Austin, Joe Murphy and Sheila Oates, Maureen Kehoe, and Marg Chant. She will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Pat Murphy and her brother-in-law Jerry Kehoe, and her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Church on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Blessed Sacrament Cemetery in Lombardy. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to CHEO or The Perth and Smiths Falls Hospital Foundation for the MRI Fund at the Smiths Falls Site.
