Dorothy Irene Donovan (née Derrig)
Dorothy passed peacefully away at Rosebridge Manor Nursing Home on Monday, September 9, 2024, in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Leo Donovan (2005). Beloved mother of John (Beverly), Mary, and Jim (Trudy). Grandmother of Zachary (Allie) and Taylor. Great grandmother of Heather Rae. Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Mary Derrig, as well as her sisters Mary Derrig (2003) and Norma Donovan (2023), and her brother PJ Derrig (2011) and DJ Derrig (in infancy). Dorothy will be missed greatly by all her nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 27, 2024 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Toledo, Ontario followed by an interment at St. Philip Neri Parish Cemetery. Immediately following the interment, friends and family are invited to a reception at St. Andrew’s United Church Hall, Toledo.
