Obituary of Charie Hoare
Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 30th, 2024, at the age of 80. Beloved husband and best friend of Bea Hoare (nee Martell). Much loved father of Wendy (Andres), Donald (Crystal), Charlene (Greg) & Anita (Andrew) and dearly loved grandfather of Brooklyn, Breanna, Kendra, Avery, David, Jonathan, Jax and Braydon. Charlie is survived by his brothers Clarence & Ronnie and sisters Jean, Connie & Colleen as well as nieces, and nephews. Charlie was born in Frankville on March 9th, 1944, and is predeceased by his parents Tom & Dora Hoare and brother Lawrence and sister Doreen.
Charlie lived his life for his family and helping others. He enjoyed playing many instruments, always had a great sense of humor and truly lived for his faith that would bring peace in life and for eternity.
A heartfelt thank you to all who supported Charlie through his illness including Tanya McAdams, NP, Alzheimer Society of LLG, Bayshore HealthCare, Ontario HealthAtHome, and the Community Paramedics.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until service in the chapel at 12:00 noon followed by a luncheon. Interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland following the reception.
